As usual, there are plenty of art related events this week to keep us busy in the Queen City.
MONDAY
Mondays can be tough, but art can make it all better (and some of us have the day off too, which doesn’t hurt). Head to the McColl Center for Art + Innovation tonight from 6-7:30pm for their Wine Club. At tonight’s event, you will have the opportunity to try (and buy) six different Sonoma California wines while learning more about 11-month affiliate artist, Austin Ballard.

WEDNESDAY
Did you know that both locations of the Mint Museum are free on Wednesday evenings? For this week’s Art Fusion event, the Mint invites visitors to their Uptown Location to explore the “Funk Art” movement. From 6-9pm you will have free access to their current exhibition, Beyond Craft: Decorative Arts from the Leatrice and Melvin B. Eagle Collection. Be sure to check out the pottery demonstrations with Amy Sanders and Adrienne Dellinger. Live music provided by Chris Jones.
