Happy Holiday Season Art Lovers! We are starting a special new holiday series highlighting special events and places you can take your honey (or just a friend) to and soak up some holiday art. This week’s edition features a yummy dinner in a contemporary artful setting, a special event pairing good art and good wine (aka heaven on earth – IMHO), and a nighcap in an edgy, cool neighborhood. So put on your artiest cocktail attire and follow this agenda this Friday night – Decmber 5th – for a perfect art night on the town.
7pm – Dinner @ 5 Church Restaurant
Corner of 5th and Church Streets
Get ready for a sensory explosion at this Uptown Hot Spot. Not only are the food and cocktails works of art in themselves, but you will be surrounded by the chic contemporary design by Reaching Quiet Studios and treated to two tasty visual treats by local artists, Rodney Raines and Nathaniel Lancaster.
Then get your sommelier shoes on and walk (or uber) down to McColl Center for Visual Art for the 7th Annual Palate to Palette!
Also featuring LATIBAH Collard Green Museum Artists:
Finally – if you’re still in need of a beverage after all that wine – head over to Gallery Twenty-Two on Central Ave and see a sneak peak of their annual local artist show (The official opening is Saturday night, December 6th). If you’re an artist, there are a few upcoming opportunities to submit work! Click here for more information on the Open Calls to Artists.
Party on Holidaters!!
