Details: Artist from across 12 Southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia) are encouraged to submit artwork for the competition and their chance at a share of $100,000 in prizes including Top Prize ($50,000), a Juried Panel Prize ($25,000), a People’s Choice two-dimensional ($12,500), a People’s Choice three-dimensional ($12,500) prize and ten $1,000 awards. Emerging and established artists may submit one original 2-D or 3-D work or art through their online process.

Exhibition: 2016 North Carolina Artists Exhibition, presented by the Raleigh Fine Arts Society
Gallery/Location: Betty Ray McCain Gallery at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Raleigh, NC
Juror: Bradley Sumrall, Chief Curator and Collections Manager of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans.
Deadline: January 12, 2016
Details: The annual juried exhibition features two and three-dimensional works from NC-based artists. The 2016 exhibition celebrates 50 years of the Raleigh Fine Art Society and the work they have done to promote and support artists in the State of NC. The exhibition will be on display March 6 – April 28, 2016. After the reception, the non-traditional gallery space is typically only open during performances.
