Tonight, October 21, the Mint Museum’s Delhom Service League and the Friends of the Mint host an artist talk with Cristina Córdova at the Mint Museum’s Randolph Location. The talk begins at 5:30pm.
Córdova received her BA from the University of Puerto Rico and earned her MFA in Ceramics from Alfred University. Upon graduation, she was a three-year resident at Penland School of Crafts. She is a recipient of numerous awards and honors including an American Crafts Council Emerging Artist Grant, a NC Arts Council Fellowship, and a Virginia Groot Foundation Grant, among others. Her work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions, including at the Renwick’s exhibition, 40 Under 40: Craft Futures. Córdova’s work can be found in several prestigious collections, including our very own Mint Museum.
