Our local organizations are offering some exciting opportunities coming up this year.  Some coming up in just a week! So mark your calendars and register early for high quality arts education and begin making some art of your own!

McColl Center Signature Series & McColl and Response Workshops
McColl Center for Art and Innovation offers a variety of workshops and classes throughout the year taught by their celebrated current and past artists in residence.  You are sure to have a unique experience and take home something very special at the end of one of these classes.  When else are you going to be able to say that you learned how to make something from a nationally renowned artist?!

The Light Factory Classes
For those of you who don’t know the celebrated history of the Light Factory – take our word for it- this is who you want to learn photography from. These guys are the pros.  So if you want to start from scratch with old school developing in the darkroom or hone your skills with that fancy new DSLR you got for Christmas -sign up for one of these class offerings.

Introduction to DSLR
Most Classes are 4 week sessions but there are also 1 day Crash Course sessions too! ($149)

Clayworks
If you like getting dirty at the wheel, then Clayworks is for you. Each of their adult classes at every level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Hand-building, Sculpture and Tile) offer Open Studio time with 24/7 access to the studio, One 25 lb bag of clay, access to a wide range of glazes and slips, kiln firing of all work created during class session and onsite parking. Class sessions last just over a month and start at $218. Find more information and register here.
