Daily: New Local Residency Program

FullSizeRender (2)

We recently heard about a new Artist in Residence Program less than 25 minutes away from Uptown Charlotte, Elysian Collective. Two local artists, Sarah DeShields and Joanna Ahlman, created this collective as a way of supporting each other as artists and the concept has grown into a space in a gorgeous 1920’s home in Mount Holly, NC. Looking like one of the serene photos from a “Dream House” pinterest board, the home offers both studio spaces and living spaces with tons of natural light and gorgeous original hardwoods. If you are looking for a temporary dwelling and place to make work, apply to join these two ladies for a while! Check out their past exhibitions and course offerings  on their website.
