As part of the first installment of the BYV “Art of Collecting” series, SOCO Gallery will lead a discussion with BYV’s and their guests on its current exhibition “KINDRED: Photographers Focus on Family”. KINDRED features works by artists whose creative inquiry examines a variety of life-affirming roles including parent, child, sibling and partner.

The College of Arts + Architecture and the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute present the third year of the KEEPING WATCH initiative with a focus on local air quality and the role that Charlotte’s tree canopy plays in a healthy environment.
