This week we’ll bring you coverage on all of the cool visual art happenings in Charlotte, from the moire/screenprint Sharon Tate images at SOCO’s Robert Lazzarini opening to the larger than life insect portraits in the Wunderkabinett exhibition at the Light Factory. In addition to these and other great events, we want to remind you that two art festivals are starting this weekend. The first is Sensoria, which is a decade old celebration of art and literature hosted by CPCC and jam packed with events. The second, BOOM Festival, is a newcomer and highlights our “fringe” art scene.
