Here & Now: 80 Years of Photography at the Mint opens on Saturday, April 16 at the Mint Museum’s Uptown location. The exhibition, featuring over 200 works, was curated by Kathleen Jameson, President & CEO of the Mint, and continues the Mint’s “year of the collection.” The results have been mixed in the past, but we’re looking forward to seeing some of the hidden gems that will be unveiled through this exhibition.
The exhibition promises diversity, from landscapes to portraits by nationally-acclaimed photographers including Dorothea Lange, Berenice Abbott, and Ansel Adams. Jameson has also selected works by artists with local connections, such as two of our favorites: Sonia Handelman Meyer and Linda Foard Roberts.

Throughout the exhibition, there will be a number of related programs offered, including Sunday Fun Day and a NextGen teen hangout. You will have plenty of time to see the exhibition; Here & Now closes on September 18.
