Friday Gallery Hopping

It may be a little too early to be thinking about weekend plans… but we just want to prepare you in advance for three events at relatively new gallery spaces on Friday + a studio sale on Saturday! Check these out – it appears that there is some kind of art for everyone popping up this weekend!

SoZo
Breathing Space is a show juxtaposing the paintings of Laura McCarthy and the photography of Scott Gardner in uptown gallery space called SoZo.

Genome
They’re back! Remember the great little pop up gallery from a few years ago uptown in Latta Arcade?  Well they are back with an opening this weekend at the Art Hole in NoDa with work by 5 local artists – several of which we have mentioned on here!

Art House
The invite says that this is the place to find affordable, original art for your home or office.  They will have over 20 different artists on display. Open both Friday and Saturday midday.

Studio Sale with Studio Cultivate
Studio Cultivate is our friend Kathering Godwin. You may remember her work from the Goodyear residencies last year, or may have attended a Cultivate Creatives Brunch. Head to her Studio Sale on Saturday to take home a little inspiration and some materials for to do some creating yourself!
