We are gearing up for one of our favorite events of the year happening next week! On September 10th at the Mint Museum Randolph will be the Museum’s 12th Annual Potters Market Invitational. If you are a collector of fine pottery, a ceramist yourself, looking for incredible one of a kind gifts, or even just curious to know more about the sundry and idiosyncratic types of ceramics, you must go. An outstanding selection of 50 North Carolina Potters will be gathered on the lawn from 10am – 4pm. With VIP access beginning at 9:15am. The $10 admission ticket will get you access to all this incredible pottery plus entry to the Museum and free docent tours. In addition there will be live music, pottery demonstrations, food, and a free shuttle to the Mint’s Uptown location as well!
This beloved annual event is presented by the Delhom Service League a 40 year old affiliate organization to the Mint Museum which exists to promote ceramic arts and education. This year the event it dedicated to Daisy Wade Bridges, a notable ceramics collector and supporter of the ceramics collection of the Mint Museum with her annual contributions from the Invitational.
