Art in Conversation: Confronting the American Dream
Hodges Taylor Art Consultancy

Hodges Taylor Art will host Art Chat this Thursday in their beautiful new space at Dillworth Artisan Station in South End. Their current exhibition “Elizabeth Alexander: I May Not be a Lion,” is on view. They will discuss work that questions American Symbols of Class, Domesticity and Femininity.


Art Under $40: Moving Sale: Wheelin’ and Art Dealin’
Free Range Brewing
6-9 p.m.

Featuring artwork available for purchase for $40 and under. Artists include: Dustin Harbin, HNin Nie and Taylor Williams.

TABOO, The 2017 Gala
Bechtler Museum of Modern Art
7-10 p.m.
Tickets start at $250 (buy here)

All proceeds benefit the museum’s operating costs, including exhibitions, public programs and community outreach initiatives that encourage an appreciation of arts, culture, and education.

Hart Witzen Gallery

A non-juried exhibition of work by any regional artist who wants to be in the show. Hart-Witzen takes no commission from sales, meaning all the $ goes to the artists!
