Artist Lecture and Opening Reception for Natalie Bork: Ripple
Lecture 5 p.m.; Reception 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Natalie Bork’s hollow cylinders hang by steel cables, hovering above the ground at various levels. Their installation allows them to oscillate with the slightest breeze, even one caused by a viewer walking by. The surfaces are brightly painted and carved on the outside.

Join the Arts and Science Council in celebrating and dedicating the new Richard Hunt sculpture, Spiral Odyssey, at the corner of West Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and South Church Street. Richard Hunt was a contemporary and friend of Romare Bearden (famous collage artist, Charlotte native).
