On October 10 from 6-8 p.m., catch the first event in the “Sphere Series,” founded by Queens University Professor Hilary Burt with representatives from LACA Projects, McColl Center for Art + Innovation and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. This collaborative effort seeks to provide the community with open discussions on the power of art to spark creative solutions and social change. The first event, “The Changing Landscape of the Art Market”, will be moderated by Jennifer Sudul Edwards, Ph.D., The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and includes panelists Cristin Tierney, owner of the Cristin Tierney Gallery NYC; Kaeli Deane, VP, Head of Department, Latin American Art at Phillips; Stas Johnson-Chyzhykov, Associate Director of Collector Relations at Artsy.net; and Nicole Berry, Deputy Director of The Armory Show.
