Mint Museum Uptown must close its doors to the public from July 9 through approximately August 17, 2018. The closure is necessary to refinish the building’s heavily-visited hardwood floors for the first time since the building opened to the public in 2010.
The Randolph Road location (currently exhibiting The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta, on view through August 19) will remain open.
The public will be invited to a grand re-opening celebration soon after they re-open, now planned for the weekend of September 14-15, 2018; keep an eye on mintmuseum.org/happenings for details.
