Katie St. Clair’s Fruiting Bodies exhibition opens with an artist talk in Tate Hall at 10:30am. She will install Ice Spheres in the Ross Gallery from 12:30-3pm, and the opening reception will take place from 5:30-7:30pm.
Mint Museum

Both locations are open until 9pm on Wednesday evenings, with free admission to the permanent collections.

LaCa Projects

LaCa Projects presents an opening reception for Juan Dolhare’s solo exhibition, Speculativ. Dolhare is also a current artist-in-resident at the McColl Center for Art + Innovation.

Mint Museum

Assuming the weather holds out, the Mint Museum will reopen their uptown location after a summer closure (to refinish their floors), with a new interactive installation on the staircase of the museum by Vesna Petresin entitled Lumisonica, as well as the third Young Affiliates of the Mint’s juried exhibitions, Mainframe.
Note: Jerald Melberg Gallery has rescheduled their Roland Poska opening reception in anticipation of Hurricane Florence. Event will now be held September 22, 6-8pm.
